New Mexico raised and now Los Angeles based singer/songwriter and actress Dianna St. Hilaire has just shared her latest single under her musical alias Oparu. Entitled “GOLD”, the song chronicles self reflection and ultimately the journey towards moving the human mind from dark to light.
“GOLD” is a masterful 80’s inspired synth pop ballad full of layered strings, seductive vocals and swirling keys. The track is deeply passionate and intense highlighting the deep emotions and feelings we all experience in life. Oparu confides, “GOLD is the hope in us all for a better place, the internal drive of our heart. This EP takes the listener on a journey through the various stages of becoming clear on their journey to their path to greatness. Each song represents a different part of the journey. GOLD is the final destination.” The track is the fourth and final song on the EP which is all about transformation and becoming a better person. The accompanying visuals show Oparu reflecting and singing on a gorgeous beach in California, demonstrating how sometimes we need to be in nature to further self reflect.
Oparu has found success writing music for TV and film and has received acclaim from the likes of The Huffington Post. GOLD is the third EP from this singer/songwriter who also has a flourishing acting career.
