Despite her 7.3 million Instagram followers, Pabllo Vittar is a fairly unknown name for many English-speakers. Following the release of her debut album, Vai Passar Mal, in 2017, Vittar kicks off her next era with single ‘Problema Seu’.
For many, the only reason Vittar’s name would ring a bell is thanks to her work on Major Lazer’s ‘Sua Cara’, which broke YouTube records as the fastest music video to reach 1 million likes (a mere 5 hours and 38 minutes), as well as her feature on Charli XCX’s ‘I Got It’. However, with her own tracks such as ‘K.O.’ and ‘Corpo Sensual’ hitting 83 and 57 million Spotify plays respectively, the Brazilian’s reign over Portuguese-speaking pop is formidable.
New track ‘Problema Seu’ (‘Your Problem’ in English) is a two-and-a-half-minute riotous rejection of a lover who Vittar warned not to fall in love with her. It’s the first release off her upcoming sophomore record, set for release later this year.

The track comes with a music video, in which Vittar conducts a museum robbery. She showcases a new, darker look with toxic yellow hair.
The drag queen first gained fame through a Brazilian talent show in 2014 and is now one of the biggest names in Brazilian LGBT+ culture. Her work with artists such as XCX, Diplo and Fergie has seen her stock as a worldwide star grow rapidly over the past few years, as her social media following would suggest. This year she penned a Love Letter to the LGBTQ Community for Billboard and was interviewed by Charli XCX for Paper Magazine.
‘Problema Seu’ is our first taste of what looks to be a stratospheric second album Pabllo Vittar. What do you make of the track? Let us know @CelebMix on Twitter!
