As P!ATD fans, we are super proud that Panic! At The Disco made it to #1 on the Billboard 200 with their new album, Pray for the Wicked! The last time they reached #1 was with their previous album, Death of a Bachelor, which was back in 2016.
But that’s not the only accomplishment that Panic! At The Disco made with this album. Pray for the Wicked’s start in both total units and traditional album sales made the largest week for an alternative rock album since U2’s Songs of Experience debuted at #1 back in December of 2017!
Pray for the Wicked also did extremely well when it came to vinyl sales, selling 26,000 copies. We got the special red one by the way. (wink) All those vinyls sold made this the 5th largest week for a vinyl effort in Nielsen Music history, which dates back to when the company began tracking sales in 1991.

Their sound on each album changes a bit, but that’s the beauty of this band. They never get boring and aren’t afraid to try new things. If we had to describe Pray For The Wicked in a few words, it would be empowering, unique, influential, and lyrically brilliant.
