Platinum-selling band Parachute (Will Anderson, Johnny Stubblefield and Kit French) are kicking off 2019 with the release of their first new single in three years! YES, THREE YEARS!
The title of the song is “Young,” and it’ll be the band’s first single off their forthcoming 5th studio album, coming Spring 2019 via Thirty Tigers.
“This song came to me in an instant. I was at a transitional crossroads in life and I wasn’t sure what was coming next personally or professionally, and all of my feelings came pouring out into this song,” says Will Anderson, lead vocalist and songwriter of Parachute.
Will continued saying, “It’s one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written but I think it’s so easy to relate to, everyone has felt that vulnerable feeling of uncertainty and fear of the unknown. Maybe that’s what becoming an adult is all about, and the song is an exploration of that. It was refreshing and cathartic to write a song about such universal human experiences.”
We weren’t done yet by the way, because new music isn’t the only new thing you’ll be getting. The band also announced The Young Tour in the U.S. which will start in April!
