Party Favor recently dropped his debut album, entitled Layers, featuring a host of celebrity guests, including A$AP Ferg, Rich The Kid, Juicy J, GTA, Lil Baby, Salvatore Ganacci, and others.

Based in L.A., Party Favor’s infectious dance music blends elements of electronic, rap, reggae, pop, and R&B into scrumptious concoctions of galvanizing dynamics. In 2016, he released his EP, Party and Destroy, which amassed 34 million streams on Spotify, as well as entering at the #2 spot on iTunes’ Dance charts. Two singles from the EP, “Give It To Me Twice” and “In My Head,” accumulated millions of streams, with “In My Head” hitting the top spot on U.S. Dance Radio, as well as #7 on Billboard’s Dance charts.

Party Favor has worked with a who’s who list of stars, like Lil Jon, 2 Chainz, Migos, and A$AP Ferg, along with residencies in Vegas, Miami, and Atlantic City. His music has been featured in films like Vacation, How To Be Single, Neighbors 2, Gringos, and Baywatch, as well as on hit TV shows, such as Ballers, NCIS Los Angeles, Superstore, and Silicon Valley.

Layers comprises of 11-tracks, starting off with “Holdin On,” opening on gleaming synths vibrating with swelling colors flowing into a potent acid-bass tune full of streaming textures and orchestral flavors. Remote vocal effects infuse the music with edgy cutting energy.

Entry points include “Wait A Minute” featuring A$AP Ferg & Juicy J. The track opens on a muscular trap rhythm rife with droning synths and tasty rapping flows, giving the music pulsating ominous energy. “Be Ok,” features the delicious voice of EZI, and rides a hip-hop-lite groove topped by dance-lite-laced hues. The juxtaposition of the thumping percussion and the luminous vocal textures bedizens the harmonics with mesmerizing complementary sheens of pigmentation.

“Wave,” featuring Rich The Kid and Lil Baby, travels on a heavy, thick pulsing trap line, as wavering synths and tight spitting flows slide overhead. Low-slung and banging, this track brings the heat. The last track, “All Of It,” opens on Celtic-flavored tones topped by wavering falsetto tones flowing into a syncopated beat crowned by spiraling, keening colors.

Layers is superb, bursting with proximate rhythms, potently glistening harmonics, smooth breakdowns, and a tantalizing array of vocal colors. Party Favor lights it up on Layers!
