Every year, PEOPLE Magazine puts out its Sexiest Man Alive issue, with a different man gracing the cover each time. Some of the men who were featured in the past include Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Johnny Depp, David Beckham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt, and more.

Idris Elba is a British actor that has featured in hit movies such as Obsessed, No Good Deed, Avengers: Infinity War, Thor, The Mountain Between Us and more. He is also featured in TV shows such as In The Long Run and Luther. The 46-year-old dad of two is also working on some upcoming projects, so be on the lookout for those.
“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’” Elba tells PEOPLE magazine in his exclusive interview. “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
