Indie-pop duo Peppermint Heaven recently released their new single, “Disco Lights,” the first single from their forthcoming EP, Glitter.
Based in Los Angeles, Peppermint Heaven is made up of Juno (vocals, keyboards) and Spark (vocals, bass, drums), who borrowed their name from a pre-Smiths Morrissey track. In 2014, Peppermint Heaven exploded on the scene in a big way, releasing their debut single, “Plenty of Time,” which hit the Top 10 on Music Week’s Club Chart.
Since then, the pair have released an array of albums, EPs, singles, and remixes, amassing more than 15 million streams on Spotify.
In 2016, they dropped their debut album, Precious Things, followed by 2017’s Curious Things and 2018’s Perfect Things. Their self-titled album, released in 2021, saw the twosome expanding and elevating their distinctive sound.
Two 2022 EPs – Rocktropolis and Poptropolis – demonstrated the scope of Peppermint Heaven’s talents, with the ‘70s retro-rock flavors of Rocktropolis shifting to luscious ‘80s synthpop on Poptropolis.
Peppermint Heaven has teamed on remixes with many top UK talents, including Full Intention, Moto Blanco, Chris Cox, Robbie Rivera, Kue, Stonebridge, Mark Lower, Jet Boot Jack, Seamus Haji, Almighty, Chords, DRYVE, Oscurco, and Revaux.
Notably, the duo has recently discovered a burgeoning community on TikTok, where their tracks have garnered over 500k views through captivating user-generated content. Peppermint Heaven’s unique sound and infectious appeal continue to captivate audiences, establishing them as one of the most exciting and boundary-pushing artistic projects of the moment.
