Perrie Edwards, one-quarter of the pop band Little Mix, has taken to social media to announce and mourn the death of her favourite furry friend.
The Little Mix star bought her kitty with ex-fiancé and former One Direction star, Zayn Malik.
On Sunday, Perrie Edwards let some of her emotions out on Instagram.
Her post features a picture of her fluffy cat, Prada, and is captioned with the heartfelt statement:
“Can’t believe we had to say goodbye to this little one today! Always in my heart”
Hence, the super cute throwback snap shows the kitty in happier times, chilling in a plant pot.
Initially, Perrie and Zayn got the kitten together back in 2013, just after announcing their engagement. Straightaway, the famous couple introduced the purring feline to their fans and the world of social media in a tweet.

wrote, alongside a family photo that showed them holding up their new pet proudly.
Up until recently, it would seem that the Little Mix singer remained the sole owner of Prada. However, it is important to remember that with an owner like Perrie, Prada is bound to have lived a great life in the limelight and will be treasured in Little Mix fans’ hearts forever.
As a keen animal lover, we believe that Perrie will be reminiscing about the great times she shared with her beloved furball, and fans are already trying to cheer up the blonde beauty.
