Caudwell Children has announced that Peter Andre is to host its annual Butterfly Ball. Caudwell Children is a national charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.
The Ball is Caudwell Children’s annual, celeb-filled extravaganza fundraising event, and it will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair, London, on Thursday 14th June 2018.
The Butterfly Ball has fast become one of the UK’s most exclusive charity events, attracting worldwide media attention and a host of A-List celebrity guests, and has established itself as the ‘must attend’ events on the London social calendar.
With intimate musical performances in the past from the likes of the late Whitney Houston, to living legends such as Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John and Gary Barlow, charity bosses say the Butterfly Ball is not simply a fundraising event, it’s an extraordinary show of exceptional quality.
The evening sees guests mixing with celebrities on the red carpet before enjoying a VIP Champagne reception, and a three-course meal featuring the finest cuisine.
To date, the event has raised a staggering £13 million for Caudwell Children helping the charity to provide hospital and in-house family support, specialist mobility and sensory equipment, activity days, life-changing therapies and fully supported family holidays for children with life-threatening conditions.
Last year’s event culminated in exclusive performances by Paloma Faith, who has three double-platinum albums to her name, and Craig David who’s sold 14 million records worldwide.
The evening will feature a prestigious auction, hosted by the renowned charity auctioneer Charlie Ross, which will give ticket holders the opportunity to win a host of ‘money can’t buy’ prizes.
Trudi Beswick, Chief Executive of Caudwell Children, said that the Butterfly Ball gives businesses the perfect opportunity to wine and dine those all-important clients. As she explained: “You would normally only get to see the acts that appear at the Butterfly Ball in an arena, surrounded by 10,000 or more screaming fans.
“If you buy a ticket to our event you’ll be experiencing something akin to a private show. You can enjoy every move, see every rivulet of sweat, and smell the aftershave and perfume of the stars as they perform for a select audience. How many times have you paid to see one of your favorite acts only to be disappointed by an indistinguishable dot on the horizon?”
