Peyton List, known for her work on Disney Channel original TV shows Jessie and Bunk’d, has released her first single “Liar Liar” and it’s officially our new favorite pop anthem.

Along with singing, Peyton has been featured in countless movies and TV shows including the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies, Hulu’s Light As A Feather and the CBS original show Happy Together. Peyton has decided to test the waters as she experiments with music, and we love it!
“Liar Liar” has definitely been on repeat since it was released on Friday, November 2nd. Peyton tells a story with her lyrics about a certain someone that has toyed with her heart. She sings about a boy that she’s not quite over yet as she watches him move on with other girls. During the chorus, she finds words that rhyme with Liar. “Liar, Liar, words on fire.” Those lyrics remind us of “Liar Liar, pants on fire.” Another lyric in her song is, “Sold my soul to someone cold.”
