Los Angeles R and B singer-songwriter, Phé, offers soulful radiance, smokey vocals and seductive melodies in her highly anticipated EP ‘Crisis’.

After singing throughout her college years, and landing backing vocals on both the Marianas Trench song ‘Shut Up and Kiss Me’, and Aloe Blacc’s hit single ‘The Man’, Phé decided to step into her own stories following in the footsteps of her childhood inspirations.

With the likes of Lauryn Hill, Sade and Erykah Badu inspiring her sound, Phé’s debut EP ‘Crisis’ delves into the details of her first experiences with falling in and out of love whilst offering a sound reminiscent of 90’s sassy R and B hits.

The eight track EP touches on themes of love, heartbreak, female sexuality and sexual exploration, healing, mental health and self-empowerment. The impressive introduction into Phé’s musical exploration takes an in-depth look at how she handled each new space she entered as she attempted to heal.

Starting off the EP with her leading single ‘Incredible’, the soulful songstress dives in head first as she narrates the first moment of falling in love laced with a distinctive coolness highlighting her signature sound of feel-good, ambient neo-soul.

As the project continues, Phé showcases her diversity with a sassy throwback inspired track ‘About Us’, along with the dreamily cinematic ‘Feel You’ and statement title track ‘Crisis’, as we hear a darker side fueled with confident, sultry energy.

Phé hopes that her music will allow others to feel connected and give them a mirror through which they can see and understand themselves and their experiences.

The LA based singer declares, “It’s really important for young people to be able to see themselves reflected back in the media and popular culture.

“It makes them feel understood and shows them that they are part of something greater than themselves. I think everyone deserves to be seen and heard”.

Hitting the ground running, her 80’s inspired ballad, ‘Feel You’ has gained over 93 thousand streams on Spotify and ‘About Us’ has been featured on Spotify’s ‘Just Vibing’ playlist as she readies a global takeover.
