After four years of being together, Phoebe Tonkin and Paul Wesley have reportedly broken up.
At this point, do we dare to believe in love anymore?
The former co-stars first met back in 2012 while filming The Vampire Diaries. Tonkin’s character ‘Hayley Marshall’, was a continual on the show up until 2013 when she was officially switched over to The Originals spinoff. It wasn’t until that summer when the pair chose to publicize their relationship shortly after Wesley and ex-wife Torrey DeVitto, divorced.
Often sharing coupled-up photos on social media, suspicion began to raise when they became inconstant. Wesley, 34, and Tonkin, 27, were last seen together around late December when they flew to Australia for the holidays; a close time frame when fans stopped receiving their PDA.
According to E! News, a source has revealed that Paul and Phoebe still remain “good friends. The relationship just ran its course.” However, neither a rep from Wesley or Tonkin have yet to comment on the situation.
On the brighter yet dim side of things, we’re happy to hear that these two remain good friends.
We all know break ups are never easy; especially after 4 years. With that being said, we hope you’re doing okay and wish you both the best.
