It has been announced that multi-talented singer, songwriter and performer Pink will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As confirmed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Pink will receive the 2,656th star on Tuesday February 5 at 11:30am PST. She will be recognised under the Recording category, with the star located in front of the Hollywood & Highland Complex at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard.
The star will be unveiled by Ellen DeGeneres and Kerri Kenney-Silver, whilst Rana Ghadban, President & CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will emcee the event.
Speaking about Pink’s star, Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said: “We are thrilled to honor one of the world’s most popular entertainers Pink! She is a unique performer who leaves you in a state of joy and surprise at the same time. She mesmerizes the audience with her voice and her action-packed performances! Fans worldwide will join us in droves in Hollywood to see her honored on her special Walk of Fame day.”
Since bursting onto the scene in 2000, Pink has taken the music industry by storm. Best known for hits including ‘So What’, ‘Just Like A Pill’, and ‘Try’, Pink has released seven studio albums and a greatest hits album, notching up over 50 million equivalent album sales.
Pink has countless awards under her belt, including three Grammys, seven MTV VMAs (including the 2017 Michael Jackson Vanguard Award), three Billboard Music Awards, and two People’s Choice Awards. Now she can proudly add ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame star recipient’ to her phenomenal list of achievements.
