Here at CelebMix, we love to showcase new music and today we are delighted to be able to give you an exclusive premiere. Alternative rock band Planet Case is back with their brand new single “Same Old Blood” and you can listen to the song before anyone else, right here at CelebMix.
Planet Case is an alternative rock five-piece from Finland, consisting of members Tuomas Kätkänaho, Aleksi Yli-Sissala, Otto Nyyssölä, Aapo Hakala and Teemu Hakala. They are signed to Finnish record label Soit Se Silti and have released various singles over the last couple of years, including “Universe and I” and “Satellites”. After its release “Satellites” featured on the Nordic Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and has since amassed over 200,000 streams, becoming one of the bands most recognised songs.
The band’s new release “Same Old Blood” gives off a very laidback, chilled vibe, reminiscent of a lot of music you would associate with Coldplay, Owl City and The 1975. If you need to unwind after a hard day or if you are simply a fan of the aforementioned bands, we reckon you will love this track and highly recommend it!

To accompany “Same Old Blood”, the band are also set to release their debut EP Simple Thoughts next month. This will feature their latest single, previous singles “Universe and I” and “Satellites” as well as two other tracks “Average” and “Industrial Dust”.
We have been fortunate enough to hear the EP already and we just know you are going to love it. In addition to the songs already mentioned, a further song on the EP called “Average” is an up-tempo and catchy track which gives us plenty of The Vamps vibes. Simple Thoughts is set for release on 24 May.
