Proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the EDM world, PLS&TY continues to release unforgettable dance tracks by dropping a more underground vibe in collaboration with Ben Samama, titled “Upside”. This single is taken from PLS&TY’s forthcoming EP, titled “3 Days, 2 Nights”, which has been building anticipation and popularity recently – we can’t wait to hear the collection of tracks in full. The release of “Upside” acts as the follow-up to PLS&TY’s collaboration with Tudor on the single “Yours”; and Ben Samama’s feature on Vicetone’s single “Dopamine Junkie“.
PLS&TY, real name Tommy Leas, is a viral artist in the electronic dance music scene who has already amassed over 100 million streams across platforms – ignoring the fact that he reached over 1 billion streams for his feature in a Hershey’s chocolate television commercial. He continues to be a force to be reckoned with, having gone on to be remixed by Grammy-nominated Morgan Page, Rusko, Cazzette, Bondax, and YehMe2, as well as extensively touring top festivals such as Shaky Beats, Breakaway, Electric Forest, EDC Vegas, and more. After a run of singles over the years, PLS&TY dropped his debut EP, titled “Very Special”, which features global stars including Sean Kingston, Alex Aiono, and Wifisfuneral. He hasn’t released new music in the last two years, instead becoming an early adopter of NFT technology and has gone on to release various NFTs launching projects for the likes of Tony Hawk and Floyd Mayweather. The release of new music sees him gearing up to release his sophomore EP, titled “3 Days, 2 Nights”.
As for Ben Samama, he is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and producer. He is a prolific artist, having managed to receive radio plays worldwide. He is responsible for over a few billion streams, not only on his own music releases but as part of being a co-writer and co-producer on huge tracks from global artists working with the likes of ATB, Taeyeon, Vintage Culture, Meduza, B.I, Bipolar Sunshine, Afgan, Monsta X, and Kang Daniel. He also has a link with Eurovision, having been one of the co-producers for the hit song “Snap” by Rosa Linn, which went viral months after the song contest. His most-streamed track on Spotify so far is his feature on the Meduza and Vintage Culture single, titled “Under Pressure”, which currently has 9.8 million streams on the platform, with his collaboration with ATB, titled “Like That”, behind at 4.6 million streams. He certainly knows how to write and produce hit songs, so we’re excited to see what the future brings for him, no doubt he’ll be a name we’ll consistently come across.
