It is an exciting time to be a part of Australian DJ duo Bombs Away: not only did their latest singles “Let You Down” and “Like You” reach over a million streams on Spotify each but the pair is also gearing up for the official release of their upcoming album “Fragments”.

“Fragments”, due out this Friday on Central Station Records, serves as the band’s first LP. The record is set to contain thirteen brand new tracks and will feature promising guest features by artists such as Ella Vee, Sunset City as well as Myah Marie.

Talking about the concept of the record with us, Bombs Away said that “Fragments comes from many things. We have songs in there that will hopefully resonate with people at various stages of their lives, and every week we live is made up of so many fragments of emotions that it really felt right.” Fitting perfectly into this description is the fact that they were aiming for the creation of a variety of sounds. “We have been working on the album so long because it’s a way to get some of our ideas out that might not make it onto the radio as singles, but mean a lot to us as a body of work.”

And this body of work is quite elevating to listen to so far.

Since Friday is still a long long way to go -at least it seems that way to us- and because we hate waiting as much as you do, we are proud to announce that we have received the amazing opportunity to exclusively premiere a brand new track off of their album. Right here. And only on CelebMix.

The song we would like to show you today features no one less significant than Myah Marie, who many attentive music listeners might recognize as one of Britney Spears’ longtime background singers. In this track, she has the spotlight on herself and asks to “Drive Me Home”.

“Drive Me Home” is a track filled with everything we love. It is almost four minutes long and immediately leads the listener into its atmosphere by introducing the post-chorus. From there on, Bombs Away continuously start to build up the momentum, climaxing in a catchy chorus which is then followed up by an even catchier post-chorus that is bound to get stuck in your head for a solid amount of time. Talking about the collaboration, Bombs Away basically gushed about their female vocalist. “Myah is absolutely amazing. We had been looking for a vocalist [for this track] for months, and it was heaven to finally hear her voice over it!“

Though they can’t tell which song is their favorite (“we both have favourites but they have changed as we approach the release date“), we have a feeling that this one holds a special place in their hearts, and might have one in yours’ too.

Listen to the synthy track right here in order to experience that same heaven for yourselves:

Don’t forget to follow Bombs Away on their journey either on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The DJ’s are also setting out on their FRAGMENTS tour until December, so check your calendars to see if you can make some space for the dynamic duo.

Bombs Away’s debut album “Fragments” will be available for purchase and streaming on the digital retailer of your choice this Friday.
