CelebMix are premiering the latest single from Canadian singer Julian Daniel, titled “Lemon Tree”.
The song is an uptempo anthem perfect for any summertime playlist, and is about a certain person, scent or place reminding you of a time where everything fell into place.
Speaking of the song’s meaning and how it came together, Julian revealed: “It was the night before I was performing at my first music festival. I had just come back to our Airbnb from a night out, and walked into my managers room.
“I had to tell her about an amazing idea I had for the songwriting tomorrow about lemon trees, smoking and people who are dead inside. My manager looked at me and said, “Okay, do it.”
“When things get tough, you can always go back to your happy place. I think we all have a safe space – that one person, scent or place that makes you feel content. It brings you back to a moment in time where everything felt perfect.”
Julian has always been interested in music – having grown up in a musical family, and being apart of musical theatre and vocal lessons. Since leaving high school, he has turned singing from a hobby into a professional career.
“Lemon Tree” is the first release to be taken from the singer’s debut EP, titled “E-Boy”. There is still more to come from this rising 19-year-old, and we can’t wait to hear more from him!
