Dynamic pop sensation July Jones is back with her new single ‘Girl In Paris’, and we’re excited to be bringing you the exclusive premiere of it today.
If you’ve yet to hear of July then where on earth have you been? The songstress made big waves earlier this year with her single ‘Solo’. The track was premiered on International Women’s Day by David O on his The Shitney Spears blog, the biggest LGBTQ blog in the UK with over one million followers.
July also recently released her version of Post Malone’s ‘I Fall Apart’. Since its release in May, the track has garnered over 100,000 streams and received support from a number of Spotify playlists. Additionally, the talented artist has been grafting hard on her new music. Earlier this year she travelled across the world to write with some of the industry’s most exciting creatives. This included a nine-day writing camp with Sigrid and Aurora’s production teams.
Now, July is ready to take on the world with her most striking offering yet, ‘Girl In Paris’. The track captivates you immediately with a haunting Parisian-esque accordion hook, before July’s soaring vocals kick in. With production from Tylr Rydr, ‘Girl In Paris’ is a dark, electronic offering which will leave you craving more from the songstress.
Speaking about the track, which expresses the frustration of lost love, July said: “We have all been there, when you meet a guy or a girl and feel a connection, but then ultimately it can’t be taken any further as the other person is already in a relationship with someone else, somewhere!”
Without further ado, we present the exclusive premiere of July Jones’ new single ‘Girl In Paris’ – check it out below.
We can expect more new music from July very soon, with the release of her first full EP due later this year. She will also be taking her music on the road with club tours, a nationwide University tour and a host of Pride shows lined up for the rest of the year. There’s no doubt that July Jones has a stellar future ahead of her, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
‘Girl In Paris’ is out tomorrow.
