Singer and songwriter CLAY shared her new EP titled Breathing Into Bloom. Co-produced by CLAY herself, the Breathing Into Bloom record features her collaboration with Alessia Cara on “WTSGD,” which has surpassed 1.7M Spotify streams since its release in March.
CLAY makes good use of her vocals, creating authentic and vibrant music that is unlike any other you’ve heard before. Breathing Into Bloom is a multi-genre composition that leans toward an indie-R&B blend with touches of pop. Leveraging her performance skills, the artist channels emotions that show us yet another personal perspective on the ever-present struggles of existence.
As the press release notes, on the six-track EP CLAY delves into her experiences with the delicate topics of mental health and unrequited love. “’Breathing into Bloom’ is about accepting that healing is a process, one that has many phases and breaths, ups and downs, and learning how to love yourself throughout the journey,” says CLAY of her EP.
