Rap-Unzel Releases Debut EP – ‘Pun Intended’

Rap-Unzel – the star of Lifetime TV’s The Rap Game – releases her debut EP, Pun Intended.

Celebrated as “The Rapping Princess” and even called the “Female” Jay-Z, Rap-Unzel is frequently likened to rappers Kash Doll and Rubi Rose because of her incisive lyricism and ingenious wordplay.

Witnessed by notable lyrics such as “Like charmin’ I’m on my shit” and “Only flossing they do is lying straight through they teeth,” Rap-Unzel’s inimitable rhymes contain both truth and humor.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Rap-Unzel, at the age of 15, caught the attention of Jermaine Dupri, followed by appearing on Season 4 of Lifetime’s The Rap Game, which brought her to national acclaim and placed her in the limelight.

Venturing forth as a solo artist, Rap-Unzel is ready to assert her talent in the realm of hip-hop, taking her place alongside the mega-stars of rap, such as Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Nicki Minaj.

Comprising six tracks, Pun Intended begins with “Pretty B.I.S.H.,” opening on a cavernous trap rhythm topped by intimidating colors as Rap-Unzel struts her dynamic flow. “Bragg,” testifies to the virtues of self-assurance and hard work. A vibrating bassline pushes the song along on thrumming energy as deliciously feisty vocal delivery gives the song blistering, femme fatale energy.

Highlights include the polished and muscular, “Neva” rolling out on a glossy, rumbling bassline accented by luminous hues. Rap-Unzel’s rapid-fire flow demonstrates her gift for potent rapping momentum.

“No More” travels on shimmering synths rippling with R&B savors, while sultry melodic rapping flows imbue the tune with velvety textures.

Talking about “No More,” Rap-Unzel shares, “I always knew I was capable of writing melodic, rap songs but that’s not a side I’ve really shown my fans. I always planned on showcasing that at some point on the project.”

She brings the heat on “Fuego,” punching out her rhymes with ferocity. Glowing, teeter-tottering synths add to the electrifying march of the harmonics.

Pun Intended throbs with the stylish à la mode flow and irresistible rhymes of Rap-Unzel, heralding the arrival of one of the best rappers in the game.
