Everyone’s favourite Beverly Hills housewife, Erika Girardi, has been cast in Season 24 of the hit US series, Dancing with The Stars.
According to sources close to Perez Hilton, Girardi will start dance lessons before the upcoming season and is reportedly “so excited” to dance for her American audience.
Girardi, who doubles as the pop diva Erika Jayne, has had multiple number one hits on the dance music charts and is a trained singer. Her dance background is informal, allowing her to compete on the reality dancing show.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is a fan favourite and is admired for her body confidence and female empowerment. Fans of RHOBH have left comments on her blogs and for reunion host Andy Cohen, telling Girardi she has inspired them to feel more confident in their bodies.
Girardi has come up against her cast members in the Beverly Hills housewives series, standing confident in the face of comments about her body and sense of style.
In 2016, Girardi told People magazine, “I am confident in all my bumps and curves. I am me. There’s no changing it, and there’s no stopping it.”
Other contestants rumored to compete on the upcoming DWTS season include Nancy Kerrigan and US Olympian Simone Biles.
