Does Rihanna even know what, “sleep,” is? The Barbadian-born star has just added another thing onto her ever-growing list of achievements. She is joining an amazing cast in an all-female remake of the classic movie, “Ocean’s Eleven”.
The upcoming feature has been penned as, “Ocean’s Ocho,” and it will also star reputable actresses Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter… So Rihanna is going to be in great company when filming begins in New York this October.
Warner Bros have reportedly stated that casting for the remake is not yet finished so there is plenty of room for another high-profile star to join the list. Also, the film studio have said that there is every possibility of a cameo from one or more stars of the original movie. Could this be any more exciting?
This won’t be Rihanna’s first venture into the movie industry though, as she already has credits on movies, “Battleship,” “Home,” and the upcoming, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.” We can’t wait to see what she has planned next!
Well, literally speaking she has the MTV Video Music Awards next. It was recently announced that Rihanna would be the recipient of this year’s prestigious Video Vanguard Award where she would be honoured for her contributions so far to the world of music. Read her tweet about it below.
