Today RoadTrip celebrate hitting one million subscribers on YouTube. CelebMix casts an eye back on some of the band’s most defining videos…

From their own music videos to covers to mash-ups to vlogs, RoadTrip are the versatile boyband who have done it all. Since starting their main channel back in 2015, the five-piece have gathered hundreds of thousands of fans online. Here’s 10 of Andy, Rye, Brooklyn, Jack and Mikey’s most iconic videos to date.

    10. Selena Gomez – Wolves (Boyband Cover)

With nearly 6.2 million views, RoadTrip’s take on Selena Gomez’s ‘Wolves’ collaboration with Marshello is a fan favourite. Hitting YouTube in December of 2017, the boys head into the wilderness in their third most viewed cover to date (we might just like it even more than the original).

    9. Ariana Grande – God Is A Woman

When RoadTrip’s version of Ariana Grande’s song of 2018, ‘God Is A Woman’, hit YouTube they sent fans into a frenzy. In a Backstreet Boys-esque all white performance, the video could well be the group’s best vocals to date.

    8. Galway Girl – Ed Sheeran

It may only be two minutes long, but it hasn’t stopped 7.3 million Roadies coming back time after time to watch RoadTrip’s cover of ‘Galway Girl’ – the band’s second most viewed video to date. From back in 2017, you might not even recognise some of the boys two-years on…

    7. Evolution of Shawn Mendes – RoadTrip

Marking the return of the band after an extended festive break, RoadTrip take to the streets of London to track the rise of Shawn Mendes through song. Coming with a full behind-the-scenes vlog, the group let fans in on the process in making one of their infamous mash-ups alongside their video-editing pals.

    6. Pia Mia – Do It Again (RoadTrip Cover)

Taking it back to 2015 with just Andy and Rye appearing, a version of Pia Mia’s ‘Do It Again’ is the very first cover video RoadTrip uploaded. No editing and Andy playing guitar whilst beatboxing, this was RoadTrip before well before a million fans had hit the subscribe button.

    5. Evolution Of Boybands – RoadTrip

All the way from The Beatles to themselves, with looks and songs from over the decades, RoadTrip’s Evolution of Boybands could well be the group’s most original video. Busted, The Jonas Brothers, Take That and One Direction all also feature in a video that has hit nearly one and a half million views since October last year.

    4. Personal – HRVY & RoadTrip (Acoustic)

Close friend and fellow singer HRVY joined the group in January 2018 for a special cover of his hit single ‘Personal’. Sharing a good number of fans, putting the two artists together was a guaranteed recipe for a fan-favourite video.

    3. WELCOME TO ROADTRIP TV

There wouldn’t be a one million if there wasn’t a first video, so this 15-second clip of the band messing around has to make the list. Now, with a separate vlog channel nearing 200,000 subscribers, the group have a slightly bigger audience for their shenanigans.

    2. Camila Cabello – Havana (Boyband Cover)

A whopping 8.3 million viewers have watched RoadTrip’s take on Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’. Their most viewed video to date, the views and comments keep on rolling in even in 2019.

    1. Take This Home (Official Video)

Despite all the millions of views on covers, RoadTrip are more than just a cover band. On New Year’s Eve last year the group released the music video for their best single to date, ‘Take This Home’. It marked a euphoric end to the band’s biggest year to date and having just finished a new EP, there may well be more when this came from.
