Rising star and New Zeland songstress Robinson has been named one of Vevo’s 2019 Artists To Watch.
Last month CelebMix caught up with Robinson to talk touring with Hayley Kiyoko, growing up as a wannabe pop star in New Zeland and her songwriting process. The singer has a knack of penning an upbeat melancholic pop hit and is fast drawing her attention as one to watch.
Now, Vevo have included Robinson on their prestigious list of the next upcoming artists in the industry. Alongside the honour, the pop star has recorded two exclusive performances of current single ‘Medicine’, as well as ‘Don’t Trust Myself’.
Sporting her classic pantsuit look, the live version of ‘Medicine’ is a stunning sassy take on the single, which has bowled over so many new fans on support tours. The charisma of Robinson is undeniable.
‘Don’t Trust Myself’, a slower struggle with being in love, showcases the young pop star’s climbing vocals and falsetto. As well as being a dab hand at writing pop tracks, she’s got the voice to pull them off too.
