Roman Road announce new single ‘Wazzup Girl’

Earlier this year, we introduced you to boyband sensation Roman Road. At the time, the group were busy wowing their fans with their quirky covers and catchy single ‘Let Me Try’, and had just been announced as one of Vodafone’s Future Breakers.

Since then, Roman Road have been working hard on their material, and now Cliff, David, Aaron, Adam and new member Jay, are ready to blow your minds with a brand new single. Written in Sweden and recorded in London, ‘Wazzup Girl’ is set to drop on November 24 but is available to pre-order now.

Check out the ‘Wazzup Girl’ artwork below.

But what can we expect from ‘Wazzup Girl’? Teasing a pop song with an RnB flavour, Roman Road told us: “Fans can expect something a little different with this track. We wanted something that was individual to what other artists, especially boybands, are doing at the minute, but remained current in the charts.”

“We wanted a really catchy sound and when we heard the intro with the whistles, we knew this was exactly what we were going for. The song is essentially about being a gentlemen and just checking up on your girl or waiting for the next time for them to be in contact.”

Sounds exciting, right?! We really loved their last single ‘Let Me Try’, so we can’t wait to hear what the five-piece have to offer when they drop ‘Wazzup Girl’ in just three weeks time.

If you fancy catching Roman Road live, they will be opening this year’s Barking & East London Fireworks Display on Sunday (November 5). Gates open at 4pm, with live music kicking off at 4:30pm. For more information, click here.
