Roman Road have treated their fans to an awesome cover of Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’.
The five piece boyband, made up of Aaron, Adam, Cliff, David, and Jay, are known for picking unusual covers which allow them to put their own twist on proceedings. In the past, they’ve covered artists as diverse as The Proclaimers, Little Mix and Shaggy, to name but a few.
Their new cover of Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’ is one of their best yet, and gives each member the chance to shine vocally. The accompanying video also shows off the band’s fun personality, with plenty of banter to be had. Seeing the band just playfully being themselves makes us enjoy the cover even more.

Did you watch until the very end of the video? If so, then you’ll have caught a snippet of Roman Road’s brand new single ‘Wazzup Girl’, which is due for release on Friday (November 24). The band also recently dropped a teaser on their Twitter account.
Speaking to us about the single earlier this month, the band said: “Fans can expect something a little different with this track. We wanted something that was individual to what other artists, especially boybands, are doing at the minute, but remained current in the charts. We wanted a really catchy sound and when we heard the intro with the whistles, we knew this was exactly what we were going for.”
The teasers are sounding extremely promising, and we can’t wait for ‘Wazzup Girl’ to drop on Friday! In the meantime, we’re going to be playing ‘I Like Me Better’ on repeat.
