Royal baby: Duchess of Cambridge admitted to hospital after going into labour with third child

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington in London this morning in the early stages of labour according to Kensington Palace.

In a statement issued at 08:20 am, the palace said: The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.

It’s understood The Duchess is currently eight months pregnant but her exact due date and the sex of the baby remains unknown.

It was announced in September last year that the Duke and Duchess were expecting their third baby.

Kate will be cared for by a similar team of nurses and doctors that helped her through the birth of Prince George in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015.

The baby prince or princess will be fifth in line to the throne.

Do you think the baby will be a boy or girl? Why not suggest a possible baby name @CelebMix?!
