BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James (a.k.a actual love of our lives) was joined by some unusual guests on his Friday drivetime show. Helping Greg to announce the Top 40 were the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate. Bet you weren’t expecting that, right? Check out Kate and Wills opening the show:
It's time for the #OfficialChart with @GregJames…and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! YES. REALLY. ?

The chart show ended with William and Kate revealing that Ed Sheeran had reclaimed the No.1 spot with Shape of You, whilst previous No.1, Harry Styles’ Sign of the Times, dropped down to No.4. Alongside Shape of You, Ed Sheeran is currently holding a second top 3 spot with new single Galway Girl.
The Duke and Duchess were at Radio 1 as part of their Heads Together campaign, which aims to get the country talking about mental health. As Heads Together is the leading charity for this year’s London Marathon, the Royals went to Radio 1 to surprise presenter and marathon-runner Adele Roberts.
Watch the adorable moment they surprised Adele at the studio:

Since launching the Heads Together charity, Princes William and Harry have been opening up about the effects of their mother’s death on their mental health. This week Prince William collaborated with Lady Gaga, who has openly spoken about her mental health, in a bid to further the conversation.
We loved seeing William and Kate getting involved in our favourite radio shows. It reminds us that they’re just normal people like us (well, kind of).
