Ryan Dolan has a whole new covers album out that we can’t get enough of. “Deep Covers” contains ten very popular tracks transformed by this awesome and talented Irish singer. He has been releasing covers for the past few years, showing off his brilliant vocals and his ability to make every song unique.
This incredible singer represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. He sang “Only Love Survives” and came 26th (last) in the Grand Final with five points. Regardless, he’s the most-recent Irish representative to make the Grand Final; that’s right, for the past four years, Ireland hasn’t managed to make it past the Semi-Finals.
This album follows from his collaborative original single with S.O.O.N. titled “We Get It Right“, which we adored. All ten tracks are completely new covers from Ryan Dolan and are all current hits.
He has switched up the tracks by slowing them down and adding his emotional vocals to the tracks. He has obviously connected with every single song, creating this perfect album that has so much passion that it’ll take you on a journey.
Stand out tracks on the album are certainly “New Rules” (originally by Dua Lipa), “Unforgettable” (originally by French Montana feat. Swae Lee), “Your Song” (originally by Rita Ora), and “The Cure” (originally by Lady Gaga). Special mentions go out to tracks “No Promises” (originally by Cheat Codes feat. Demi Lovato) and “Attention” (originally by Charlie Puth) because Ryan Dolan hits us in the heart with these two songs whilst making them so different from the originals.
This album really showcases Ryan Dolan off as an incredible singer. It’s extremely brave to release a covers album, especially one that features current popular tracks. Yet, he has managed to put his own stamp on every single track, proving his worth and talent.
