Rylan Clark-Neal and Roman Kemp have been confirmed as new additions to this year’s X Factor team.
Rylan, who first shot to fame as a contestant on the show in 2012, will be returning to his roots as the new co-host of spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
Since his time as a contestant on The X Factor, Rylan has enjoyed a whole load of success. After winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, he has gone on to present a number of shows including This Morning, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and his own chat show Up Late with Rylan.
Of the announcement, Rylan said: “I’m so excited to say that I’m coming back to where it all began.” He revealed that he was thrilled to be reunited with Nicole Scherzinger too, who was his mentor in 2012. He will be joined by Matt Edmondson, who was announced as a co-host earlier this week.

Capital FM DJ Roman Kemp will also be joining the Xtra Factor team this year. Roman will bring his cheeky humour to the show as the social media reporter. He will also be presenting all the online content for the show.
Roman shared his excitement, stating: “I’m so honoured to be able to be a part of a show I have grown up watching every week and one that has seen contestants become the world’s biggest superstars. Being able to work with and alongside ITV really is a dream come true and I am certain that this year is going to be sensational. I just can’t wait to get started!”
Additionally it has been revealed that Xtra Factor will be live from the very first episode this year. That means viewers will be given instant access to the contestants and the reactions to their auditions. We can’t wait!
The new series of The X Factor is fast approaching and will return to our screens in the Autumn.
