‘Almost Love’ was produced by Stargate and co-written by Sabrina along with Mikkel Eriksen, Nate Campany, and Steph Jones. The track is taken from Sabrina’s forthcoming third album Singular, which is expected to be released this Winter.
Speaking about the track, Sabrina said: “I wrote ‘Almost Love’ with Stargate earlier this year. It’s the first song off of my new album, Singular, that comes out this winter. I’m so excited for this to finally be out because I feel like it begins a new era for me sonically and visually. There was a new tenacity that I found through the writing process which became the foundation for the album.”
If ‘Almost Love’ is anything to go by, the new era of Sabrina Carpenter is going to be sensational. You can catch Sabrina performing the track on Good Morning America on August 20.
In addition to working on her new music, Sabrina has been busy extending her acting resume. She recently wrapped up filming on The Hate U Give, which is due for release on October 19. Sabrina is also set to star in the upcoming independent film The Short History of the Long Road, opposite Steven Ogg, Maggie Siff and Danny Trejo.
