Sam Lavery releases addictive new single ‘What You Do’

To kick off 2019, Sam Lavery has released a huge new pop anthem titled ‘What You Do’. The track serves as her latest single and after listening to it, we can’t stop coming back for more!

Lyrically speaking, ‘What You Do’ is about trying to move on from someone but falling into old habits after seeing them again in person. Even when you know someone isn’t right for you, attraction and temptation is sometimes too hard to resist.

The song, which was produced and co-written by Charlie Drew, is arguably Sam’s catchiest single to date. Sam premiered ‘What You Do’ live last year and after performing it at Heather Small’s tour, the track received praise from the soul legend herself.

Sharing her new single on social media, Sam Lavery said: “‘What You Do’ IS OUT NOW! Go have a listen, stream and download! I really appreciate all the support and I hope you love it like I do!!

‘What You Do’ is available here on all digital media platforms. The infectious song follows Sam’s first four singles: ‘Walk Away’, ‘Beat Of You’, ‘For The Night’ and ‘Bad Boys’. At just 19 years old, Sam already has a fantastic discography and we can expect more new material from her soon.

As well as recording and releasing brilliant tunes, Sam Lavery is currently playing Whatsername in American Idiot’s 10th anniversary UK tour. The explosive Green Day musical opened in Dunstable this week and it will hit tons of theatres over the next six months. Full details can be found here.

With an incredible new single and first musical production to her name, 2019 is certainly off to a strong start for Sam Lavery. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for her.
