Rising pop princess Samira accepts the cards she’s been dealt, yet still maintains her power, as she walks away from the toxicity of a doomed relationship to embrace a whole new beginning with the release of her brand new single, ‘Envy Me’.
Co-written by Samira with Danish recording artist Daniel Schulz, the empowering track serves as the follow up to ‘Like This, Like That’, which to date has amassed over 2 million impressions across TikTok and Instagram reels.
Of the song, the ‘Smile’ singer says: “As the saying goes, ‘if you love someone, set them free’. ‘Envy Me’ is about that contradiction of knowing your worth and walking away from a toxic situation knowing it’s not right for you, whilst still being sad at the way things have panned out and still caring enough to be concerned about the other party“.

Having spent the last year in the studio, working and co-writing tracks with some of musics biggest hitmakers, most notably Tre-Jean Marie (Little Mix, FLO), Cutfather (Demi Lovato, The Pussycat Dolls), Ryan Ashley (H.E.R., Anne-Marie), and Lil Eddie (Rita Ora, Maluma), Samira pulls from her years of industry slayage, to create a unique dance / pop sound of her own.
Inspired by legendary performers like Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Tinashe, the triple-threat entertainer says she’s on a mission to bring the ‘wow factor’ back into the world of pop – and with the promise of more new music set to drop later in the year, best believe the South East London native will succeed in quest to dominate dance floors around the world!
