Singer-songwriter Sarah Close has announced her first UK headline show.
After releasing her debut single ‘Call Me Out’ on Friday, fans will be able to hear the track and more live at London’s Camden Assembly on April 18. Tickets will be available from her website on Friday (March 10) at 10am. However, a fan presale will open at 10am tomorrow.
To coincide with the headline show announcement, Sarah has also unveiled the music video for ‘Call Me Out’. Directed by Rubberduck and Rubberneck, the visual sees Sarah taking the camera through a manor house in a game of tag, before ending up in a garden maze.
Speaking about the video concept, Sarah said: “We then came up with this concept, I wanted it to be very simple and not have many takes or be super polished. There’s meaning to the song and we wanted to convey that in the music video. This idea of a game of tag and the movement between me and the camera is meant to symbolise a part of the relationship when you don’t know what’s happening.”

The video is simple yet fun, and reflects the inspiration behind the song. Sarah explains that she wanted to “write a really fun song about the process of flirting with someone and that uncertainty of not knowing what will happen. There’s no certainty in anything and that’s a really fun and terrifying time.” The accompanying visual also adds to the hypnotic effect of the song, created by Sarah’s poignant vocals.
‘Call Me Out’ is taken from Sarah’s forthcoming EP Caught Up, which is due for release on April 14. The EP is available to pre-order now.
