Satya has released a music video for her latest single, “In Trouble”, and it’s just as captivating as the song itself.
If you haven’t already heard it, “In Trouble” will be racing through your mind at all hours after the first listen. Right from the get-go, the Moroccan-Canadian songstress’ voice glides through effortlessly, reeling you into her story and leading into beats that’ll get you moving. Since its release, “In Trouble” has been featured on Spotify’s “New Music Friday Canada” playlist.
“This song is about finding true love but also feeling like you could be in trouble because you’ve lost control.” says Satya, about the sizzling single.
‘In Trouble’ means a lot to me because I never expected to find this kind of honest and genuine love. This is first and foremost what I wish people the most. I wish they find the love they deserve, that they find someone who will make them shine”.
Well, if dancing next to an open flame isn’t an accurate depiction of that fusion of feeling both bliss and risk, we don’t know what is.
The music video is striking yet alluring, supported by the different uses of darkness and light in scenes throughout. We see a connection in otherwise abandoned space, telling a tale through choreography.
