Fierce pop trio Say Now continue to keep us fed with the unveiling of their first new song of the year, “DON’T TEXT DON’T CALL” – an empowering, timely anthem, that encourages those of us feeling confused about our relationships to never question our self-worth, or engage with anyone who continues to be reck-less with our time.

Written by the band, alongside producer Maestro (Rihanna, Tyla), Savannah Jada (Mahalia, Raeheaven) and James Essien (LISA, H.E.R.), the feisty track serves as the latest in a string of releases which have seen Amelia, Maddie and Yssy explore their “collective experiences of modern love” – from kicking exes out of the car, to makeup sex and embracing the single life.

In a joint statement, the ladies say of the independent pop bop: “In a generation where you’re so easily accessible, sometimes you get to the point of wanting to throw your phone away and move on. We want everyone to know they’re worthy of a good love, and sometimes bad people don’t even deserve a text, call or DM.”

Forget what you thought you knew about girl bands from the ones that came before, because UK trio Say Now have already switched up the rules!

Influenced by everyone from Ariana Grande to Sugababes and SZA, the ladies intoxicating blend of R&B and pop, combined with candid lyrics and dynamic performances, has garnered them a faithful and devoted following.

Made up of Ysabelle Salvanera, Amelia Onuorah, and Madeleine Haynes, the band already have many a fierce, pop bop in their catalogue, with songs like ‘Not A Lot Left To Say’, ‘Bitch Get Out Of My Car’, ‘Trouble’ and ‘Made Up Sex’ all garnering praise and support from publications including The Official Charts Company, Notion, and Wonderland, as well as fellow recording artists Jack Harlow, Chlöe, and All Saints.

The girls made major moves in 2024, supporting Kylie Minogue at BST Hyde Park, before ending the year on a major high, winning the Rising Star Award at the UK Glamour Awards.
