Scouting For Girls are one of those bands who can successfully bring out hit after hit after hit, new single ‘Dancing In The Daylight’ is no exception to this. Taken from their new album Ten Add Ten due for release on 13th October has fast become one of their catchiest tracks to date.
Dancing In The Daylight is a typical Scouting For Girls track taking us back to 2010 with poppy vibes getting you up on your feet and cheeky yet charismatic lyrics. Revealing they went back to their debut album ways the magic which made people fall in love all those years ago, the original methods work the best. We’ve struggled to not listen to this track on repeat for the last few days because once it’s in your head it definitely won’t be leaving anytime soon! Scouting For Girls have been a band we’ve fallen in love with more along the way as they never lose their fun nature even as they grow as a band.
2017 marks the Tenth Anniversary of Scouting For Girls, the band who brought us She’s So Lovely, Heartbeat and Love How it Hurts to just name a few. In order to mark this special occasion, they’ve treated fans to a trio of treats. A reissue extended version of their self-titled debut album earlier this year. New material entwined with ten of their greatest hits on Ten Add Ten, ten old and ten new tracks (smart, we like it!). With the biggest treat of a mammoth tour starting on 26th October in Shetland and finishing on 6th December in Manchester, making 32 stops including two shows at the iconic London Palladium.
Pre-order Ten Add Ten here and be sure to grab your tickets for their Tenth Anniversary tour whilst you’re at it.
