Comedian Seann Walsh is the eleventh contestant to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2018.
The news was revealed on tonight’s The One Show, with newsreader Kate Silverton also being announced.
Speaking about putting on his dancing shoes, Seann said: “It’s just something that I and no one I know would expect me to do. Everyone looks like they’re having so much fun on it. It makes me laugh every time I imagine doing it.”

Having kickstarted his comedy career at the age of 12, Seann has performed across the UK, delivering plenty of laughs along the way. He has appeared on shows such as Virtually Famous and Play To The Whistle, and has also showed off his acting skills on shows including Three Kinds of Stupid, Bad Move, and The Drunk.
Seann joins the previously confirmed Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules, Joe Sugg, Vick Hope, Graeme Swann, Dr Ranj, Stacey Dooley, Ashley Roberts, and Kate Silverton. There are plenty more announcements due over the next few days, but it’s safe to say that this year’s competition is shaping up to be an interesting one.
