    It was announced yesterday that singer and actress Selena Gomez was taking some time out due to ill health! She is said to be suffering from depression, anxiety and panic attacks all of which are side affects of her Lupus disease.

    At the time it was not clear whether her Revival World Tour would be completely called off or just postponed. But today LiveNation confirmed that the whole of the European leg of the tour has now been completely cancelled as Gomez is too ill to continue.

    The ticket website replied to a fans question about what was going on with the tour;

    We're afraid so. Details & message from Selena here: https://t.co/iPMViRBDwk

    The accompanying statement sent out by Selena Gomez reads:

    “As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have Lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of Lupus, which can present their own challenges. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone and by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues.”

    Ticketholders are advised that refunds will be available from point of purchase.

    We here at CelebMix would like to send our best wishes to Selena Gomez and we hope she has a speedy recovery.
