To celebrate their eighth anniversary as a band, Set It Off did something very special yesterday. The Floridian rockers got matching tattoos in matching locations!
Cody, Dan, Maxx and Zach now have identical diamond tattoos on their legs. As well as being part of the band’s iconography, the black and blue diamond represents unity and self-acceptance. The iconic symbol is often held up by fans at live shows.
Posting a photo of his new ink on Instagram, Cody Carson said: “A HUGE thanks to @lindseebeetattoo for NAILING the #SioDiamond. Thanks for my first tattoo!”
Guitarist Zach DeWall also took to social media. He shared the picture below and tweeted the following caption: “Best way to celebrate 8 years with my brothers. <|>”
After eight long years, it’s fantastic to see that Set It Off are still going strong. The four-piece band never fail to impress with their theatrical lyrics and epic instrumentals.
Whether it’s the beautifully poignant ‘Dad’s Song’ or the insanely catchy ‘Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing’, there really is something in Set It Off’s discography for everyone. We’d definitely recommend that you listen to the group’s first two albums and their early EPs.
Set It Off’s eagerly anticipated third studio album ‘Upside Down’ will be released later this year on the 7th October; you can pre-order it here on iTunes. The record will feature: ‘Uncontainable‘, ‘Something New‘ and ten other brand new tracks.
Over the years, Set It Off have certainly achieved a lot and they’ve gained a loyal legion of fans. Long may the band’s success continue; here’s to another 8 years!
