With less than 3 weeks to go until the release of Shania Twain’s highly anticipated comeback album ‘Now’ – the LP is Twain’s first studio release in fifteen years. The 52-year-old hitmaker has been busy promoting the record around the world.
This week she has been in the UK for promotion and made her first British TV appearance since 2004 on The One Show on Monday, and this Saturday she is expected to perform on Strictly Come Dancing, before hitting the stage at London’s Hyde Park on Sunday for BBC Radio 2’s Festival In A Day.
And along with talking about the new album, Shania Twain has also been releasing and teasing tracks off the upcoming collection. So far she has officially released the pop infused ‘Life’s About To Get Good‘, the electro-pop ballad ‘Poor Me‘, and the infectious country/pop banger ‘Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed‘. Along with these tracks she has also teased the catchy ‘Home Now’, and ‘We Got Something They Don’t’ which are being used in a series of adverts for the US Open.
And now Shania Twain has given fans yet another taste of what is to come from ‘Now‘ when it drops on September 29th. The song she has premiered this week is the hauntingly beautiful ‘Solider’. The poignant track is made even more emotional by the fact it is being used in the movie trailer for true-life flick ‘Thank You For Your Service’.
