Returning to Norfolk Showground on 31st August – 2nd September 2018, Sundown Festival is the perfect place to spend the last few days of summer. A few moments ago, the first wave of artists was confirmed, and it’s safe to say that 2018 will be Sundown’s biggest year yet.
Shawn Mendes and Clean Bandit have been announced as this year’s headliners, with Chase & Status headlining the Campers Only party on the opening night.
Canadian singer-songwriter extraordinaire Shawn shot to fame in 2013 through a series of viral Vine videos. Since then, he has become a global pop superstar with smash hits including ‘Mercy’, ‘Stitches’ and ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’. With his highly anticipated third album in the works, Shawn is bound to deliver an energetic set when he performs at Sundown Festival.
Clean Bandit are no strangers to the festival circuit and they are quite rightly headlining this year’s Sundown Festival after becoming one of the most exciting groups of the 21st century. The electronic trio are renowned for their feel good anthems, including ‘Rather Be’, ‘Rockabye’, ‘Tears’ and ‘Symphony’. Grace, Jack and Luke will definitely be bringing the sun-soaked vibes to the festival, even if the weather isn’t too great.
For those who will be camping, you will be treated to a Campers Only Opening Party on the Friday night. This exclusive party will be hosted by drum and bass icons Chase & Status, and will be the perfect way to kick start your festival weekend.
Other confirmed artists include Swedish songstress Zara Larsson, who has wowed music lovers across the globe with hits such as ‘Lush Life’ and ‘Ain’t My Fault’. Dance duo Sigma are also on the bill, in addition to Krept & Konan, Bugzy Malone, Wilkinson, Disciples and more.
In addition to the main stage, you can also catch a variety of artists on the Nest stage, Castle stage and the Mystree Forest.
