Shawn Mendes announced on social media that more tour dates were coming at 10:30 ET today for Shawn Mendes: The Tour.
One by one he announced them on his Instagram stories and fans soon found out the new dates were for Latin America and Mexico this December. Some dates for Mexico have already been announced, but more were just added.
Here are the seven new dates:

Dec 20, Mexico City, Mexico, Palacio de los deportes
Tickets go on sale February 1st for these dates.
With more stadium dates announced, fans are expecting even more announcements. There are more North American cities that fans are waiting on, and they are keeping their fingers crossed.
His website states that more dates and regions will be announced soon. Fans are also waiting for Mendes to announce his opener.

His tour kicks off on March 7 and spans over 70 dates so far, lasting until the end of the year. He will visit North, Central, and South America, Europe, the UK and Australia, and New Zealand.
Mendes also recently posted that he is working on new music. He may incorporate those songs into the tour or fans may get a new album before this tour even ends. With Mendes, who knows? He tends to surprise us.
Mendes seems really excited about these dates. With his Portugese background, he will feel right at home.
