    Shawn Mendes To Release Second Album

    It time for all Shawn Mendes fans to get very excited!

    One of our favourite teen, pop sensations is getting us all excited for the near future with the announcement of a second album! Shawn took to his social media accounts earlier on today to post some hints about his second album. These hints included several short clips of Shawn, captioned #Illuminate . Shawn is constantly keeping his fans updated on his social media accounts, and this was the update that you need to hear about.

    Shawn’s second album ‘Illuminate’ will be released on September 23rd. The album is now available for preorder on his website. It will also be available for preorder on iTunes on July 8th! If you are fast enough to preorder the album you will receive four tracks off the album before the release date. This includes receiving ‘Ruin’ this Friday!!

    If you’re excited to hear about this, you will be happy to know that physical copies of the album are also vailable on Shawn’s website! There are various bundles available from, signed CDs, to book bundles, to posters, and even vinyl.

    ‘Illuminate’ features 12 new songs. There is also a deluxe version that will include three bonus tracks. Shawn has kindly released the names of the first five out of 15 tracks on the album. The titles of these songs include, ‘Ruin’, ‘Mercy’, ‘Treat You Better’, ‘Three Empty Words’, and ‘Don’t Be A Fool’.

    It has been just over a year since the release of Shawn’s first album, ‘Handwritten’. His first album proved to be a huge success all around the world, and is still doing extremely well to this day. Be prepared to count down the days for this album release, we have a feeling it is going to be huge!
