A powerful girl anthem!

Sia’s Angel by the Wing to feature in new documentary film

Sia has recorded a song “Angel by the Wings” for the documentary film “The Eagle Huntress” which will have its world premiere on 24th January, 2016 at Sundance Film Festival. The news first appeared on Billboard.

According to a representative, “Angel By The Wings” is an “uplifting pop song” which “showcases Sia’s mesmerizing vocals, inspiring listeners to look up to the sky, before unleashing a powerful refrain of ‘You can do anything.’

The film’s director Otto Bell called the song “a beautiful girl power anthem”. He expressed his happiness and said,

“I’m incredibly grateful that Sia took the time to write and record this very special song. It’s a wonderful vote of confidence for our documentary. I could not have imagined a more fitting, timeless piece of music for the film – it’s such a beautiful girl power anthem!”

The Eagle Huntress is a film about a 13 year old Mongolian girl Aisholpan, who strives to become first female Eagle hunter in a patriarchal society.

“Angel by the Wings”, written by Sia and Greg Kurstin is a follow up to 1000 Forms Of Fear which released in January 2014.
