Sigala, best known for the summer smash hit ‘Easy Love’, has unveiled his latest single, a collaboration called ‘Give Me Your Love’ featuring John Newman and Nile Rodgers.
Everything about the track screams summer vibes and we’re already excited to hear this at parties and festivals over the next few months!
John Newman took to his newsletter to share the inspiration behind the song with fans. He said “‘Give Me Your Love’ is generally about chasing someone who you’ve been seeing for ages already but who won’t commit to you, though they may as well have already! You know, calling every night, spending the night etc. I think it’s a situation we’ve all found ourselves in at some point in life and is something both me and Bruce [Sigala] had a mutual understanding of!”
On working with Sigala, he said: “The collaboration came about quite organically, I think we’re both fans of each other’s music and as soon as I’d heard a couple of singles I knew I wanted to work with him. It turned out Bruce’s studio and mine are actually around the corner from one another, that made working together pretty easy and we gelled really well musically. We’ve spent a lot of time together now and have become really good mates, we’re still working together now and I’m sure there will be more to come, which is very exciting.”
John also had a lot to say about working the legendary Chic star Nile Rodgers. “Working with Nile was exactly as I had imagined, the guy is a legend! He did his thing and added flavor to the track, which really helped give it a lift and reinforce the vibe we were looking for. We’ve been working together on a few bits and this is the first piece finished, we’ll be seeing each other over the summer for some other endeavours and I’m now, if at all possible, more excited than I already was! ”
It’s clear that Nile enjoyed working with Sigala and John just as much!

Not content with dropping a brilliant new single, Sigala also announced his first UK tour! He will be hitting London, Manchester and Glasgow in September.
