    SINGLE REVIEW: Selena Gomez’s ‘Fetish’

After the release of the hit single ‘Bad Liar‘ back in May which saw Selena Gomez take on a brand new musical style, the 24-year-old is back again with a brand new sound for the sexy single ‘Fetish‘.

The sultry track features rapper Gucci Mane and was produced by Jonas Jeberg and The Futuristics. It’s yet another turning point in Gomez’s illustrious recording career, and the new style will no doubt gain her an army of new fans.

‘Fetish’ is completely different to ‘Bad Liar’ which has been one of Selena Gomez’s biggest hits to date, but it has an infectious beat and strong lyrics. There’s no denying that the former Disney star has completely changed her music direction since the ‘Revival‘ era. And some supporters may not be in favour of the futuristic style of songs Gomez is now producing. But the change is opening doors to a whole new audience and the hitmaker is becoming more successful than ever.

The new single has very sexy lyrics such as “If I were you I’d do me too”, and Gucci Mane’s rap in the middle adds another layer to the chilled-out track. While Selena’s low and breathy vocals make for a very sultry chorus. It’s obvious that she has now found her true music style and is coming into her own as an artist. ‘Fetish’ is probably her best release so far.

    RATING: 5/5
