Anthem rock duo VISTA, made up of Hope Vista and Greg Almeida, are back and ready to shake up your world with their new track.
‘Allegiance’ follows on from previous single ‘Henchmen’, and is due for release on Friday (May 19). The band have teased the track on their socials by sharing a thirty-second preview.
However, we’ve been lucky enough to hear the track in full and it’s official, VISTA have delivered another enormous anthem! So, what can be expected from ‘Allegience’? Well, from the off the track doesn’t seem quite as heavy as their previous offerings, however, it sounds just as epic. The opening verse is gentle and hypnotic, complete with a string accompaniment before the guitar kicks in, creating the anthemic sound we know and love the band for.
Lyrically, the song is powerful and encourages people to join their own allegiance. The chorus is also euphoric, and emulates the strong message throughout the song. Hope and Greg prove to be the ultimate dream team. Hope’s haunting vocals and Greg’s roaring guitar playing are a strong combination which will leave you wanting more.
‘Allegiance’ is the lead single from their upcoming EP. Since releasing their previous offering, ‘Henchmen’, the band have achieved some incredible feats, including supporting Against The Current at Irving Plaza and selling out their first two headline shows. They’ve also been featured in three Alternative Press articles and are in heavy rotation on idobi.
As VISTA continue to grow from strength to strength, we have high hopes for this anthem-rock duo.
