Los Angeles based Skylet Gunner creates nostalgic-drenched pop rock bliss with her new single “Mad B*tch”. The infectious tune is the latest off of her six song EP Serpent Soul.
“Mad B*tch” tells the story of that fierce femme fatale that every girl wants to be. The one who brims with confidence and charisma. A seductive musical offering, Skylet Gunner channels 60s and 70s pop musical influences. Intriguing guitars sway under passionate honey-laced vocals and the songwriter’s catchy melodies. The single is also shared with a music video, a cool snapshot into an Old Hollywood inspired character played by Skylet Gunner and directed by the award-winning director, producer and writer Regina Pigsley.
Skylet Gunner was born in New York and found success with her dance pop musical project Katie DiCicco which garnered two #1 hits in Europe. Her new musical direction evokes influences from her experience with relationships, self-empowerment and reflection in psychedelic pop and rock genres.
