Slam Dunk Festival is already shaping up to be one of the biggest and best weekends of the year. Now further bands have been added to the line-up including This Wild Life, Code Orange, A and While She Sleeps.
Held over the May bank holiday (23rd and 24th May) weekend this year the festival will be co-headlined by Sum 41 and Don Broco. It’s been announced that While She Sleeps will be headlining the Jägermeister stage bringing their fiery metalcore to Leeds and Hatfield.
Also announced in this wave of acts is Code Orange who despite having just announced their fourth album Underneath, will be making their Slam Dunk debut this year. Other Slam Dunk debuts will be coming from Arizona outfit Dolls Kill and Popes Of Chillitown. This Wild Life, A, [Spunge] and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! complete this new wave of bands announced. These recently announced bands will join the likes of Young Guns, Bury Tomorrow, State Champs, Mayday Parade, The Wonder Years, We Are The In Crowd and many more previously announced.
One of our favourite parts of Slam Dunk Festival is the sheer variation of music genres you can experience across your day. If punk is your thing then you’re in luck as the Punk In Drublic stage is making a return in 2020. Me First & The Gimme Gimmes and The Suicide Machines have just been announced to complete the stage line-up which will also see artists such as Reel Big Fish and NOFX grace it across the day.
